Authors: Manuscripts must not exceed 35 pages, double-spaced, Times Roman 12 point--including abstract of 100 words or less, footnotes, references, tables, and figures--and must not be under review elsewhere. They must include JEL classification code plus each author's phone, fax, and e-mail address. Initial drafts need to conform strictly to EI style (see EI, January 1995, pp. vii-x or contact the Editorial Office). Manuscripts will not be returned. Views expressed by authors are their own and do not represent views of WEA International, or the Editors. We request that you send a pdf file of the paper for submission to Economic Inquiry. For questions e-mail cep@weai.org. Manuscript Submission fees: Fees for members are $100, nonmembers $160. Submission fees are waived for members who within six months after WEA International conferences submit revised conference papers. Nonmembers may join by including dues with application member submission fee. Make checks payable to WEA International in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. To opt in to the no revisions option, please select the no revisions option when selecting article type. We now offer a "Miscellany" section, intended for humor and curiosities. Economic Inquiry has a venerable tradition in humor, dating at least to the publication of Axel Leijonhufvud's 1973 "Life Among the Econ." At most one paper per journal issue will be devoted to this section; please indicate on the pdf when a submission is intended for the section. If you think a specialized co-editor should handle your manuscript, please add "I think ___ should handle my paper" to the letter accompanying your submission. This is not a guarantee that the paper will be handled by that editor, but insures due consideration.
